Robins Nest

Robins Nest is on a working farm just outside Cromford. It's an old stone barn that's been converted. You get your own part of the courtyard. It's quiet here, you just hear the farm.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, but not fancy. It's an old building, so some of the doorways are low and the floors can be uneven in places.

You can walk around the farm tracks. There are chickens about. The owners are around if you need anything.

Cromford village is about a ten minute walk. There's a shop, a couple of pubs, and the canal there. The mill is interesting if you like industrial history. Matlock Bath is two miles down the road. It's a strange and busy place, full of arcades and fish and chip shops. Good for an hour's wander.

You're right in the middle of the Peak District. Walking trails start from the door. Carsington Water is ten minutes by car for sailing or a walk around the reservoir. Bakewell is about twenty minutes. Chatsworth House is fifteen minutes away.

For facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. You can bring one dog. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot if you need it.
