Ryecroft
Ryecroft is in Matlock. It's a terrace cottage near the top of a hill. You can see Riber Castle from the big window in the front lounge.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. There are two living rooms, both with wood burners. One has a TV. The kitchen has what you need: cooker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave. It opens onto a small patio and lawned garden. The stairs are normal.
Matlock town centre is down the hill. It's a walkable distance if you don't mind the slope back up. There are shops, pubs, and cafes there. A weekly market too.
You're on the edge of the Peak District. Bakewell is about a 15 minute drive. Chatsworth House is maybe 20 minutes. Haddon Hall is similar. Matlock Bath is just down the road, they do the illuminations in autumn which are busy but quite a spectacle.
Facilities: Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, wood burners. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the street outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
