Hill Top Cottage is in Park Head, near Crich and Matlock. It's detached and set back from the road, so it's quiet. The main view is over fields.
It's a one-bedroom place for two people. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-fitted. The layout is upside down. You come in to the kitchen and shower room on the ground floor. The living area and bedroom are upstairs. That's where you get the best views.
Outside, there's a heated swimming pool. It's above ground, but it's a decent size and it's heated for the season. There are a few different spots to sit outside, depending on the sun.
Inside, the living area has a large TV screen you can use like a cinema. There's a selection of books, DVDs, and games if you need them.
The village of Crich is a short walk away. It has a couple of pubs and shops. The National Tramway Museum is there, and you can get a tram up the valley for the views. Matlock is about seven miles for a bigger range of shops and places to eat.
You're right on the edge of the Peak District. For walking, you can start from the door. For a day out, Chatsworth House is about a 25-minute drive. So is Haddon Hall. Bakewell is about 20 minutes.
In terms of what's here: the swimming pool, parking, WiFi, bedding and towels are all included. It's wheelchair accessible to get in, but the living area is upstairs. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
