Hill Top Cottage

Hill Top Cottage is in Park Head, Derbyshire. It's a detached cottage for two people. The biggest thing is probably the outdoor pool. It's heated and above ground, so you can use it when the weather's good.

It's got a four-star rating. That means it's well looked after and comfortable. The layout is upside down. You come into the kitchen and a shower room on the ground floor. The living area and the double bedroom are upstairs. That's where you get the views over the fields.

The living room has a large projector screen for films, and there's a collection of games and books. The property is all on one level once you're inside, so the entrance is wheelchair accessible.

Outside, there are a few different spots to sit. You can store bikes. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Bedding and towels are included, and there's parking right there.

It's a good spot for the Peak District. You can walk from the door. The National Tramway Museum is in Crich, which is the next village along. Matlock is about seven miles away for shops and places to eat. The Heights of Abraham there has a cable car and caves.

Within half an hour's drive you've got places like Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, and Bakewell. The High Peak Cycle Trail starts near Matlock if you're bringing bikes.
