Amberley Cottage
Amberley Cottage is on a street in Alfreton. It's a terraced house, pretty much right in the middle of town. You get the back garden to yourselves. It's enclosed, so it's fine for a dog or if you've got kids.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were all redone a couple of years ago so they're in good order.
There's a pub about a hundred yards away. A shop is a bit further. The local park is literally over the road. Alfreton Leisure Centre is close if you want a swim or the gym.
You're well placed for the Peak District. It's about a twenty minute drive to get into the national park proper. For a day out, Chatsworth House is about half an hour away. So is the Heights of Abraham at Matlock Bath. Crich Tramway Museum is closer, maybe fifteen minutes.
On the practical side, there's a washing machine, a cot if you need it, bedding and towels are included, and you can park on the street right outside. We take one well-behaved dog.
