The Bungalow
The Bungalow is in Pentrich. It's detached, so there's no one next door. The gardens are nice, mainly lawn with some flowers. You get the whole space to yourself.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. Everything is on the ground floor. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and has what you need. The bathroom has a shower over the bath.
There's a pub about 200 yards up the road. They do food. The nearest shop is about a mile away in South Wingfield.
The view from the front is good. You look out over the Amber Valley towards Crich Stand. You can see the woods around Matlock in the distance.
It's a good spot for getting out. You're right on the edge of the Peak District. For a walk, you can drive into the White Peak easily. Dovedale, Bakewell, and the area around Sherwood Forest are all within about half an hour.
If you've got children, there are places nearby. The Crich Tramway Museum is just up the road. The Midland Railway Centre is at Butterley, and Gulliver's Kingdom is at Matlock Bath.
Facilities: there's parking for two cars on the drive. The garden has a patio area. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. We include all bedding and towels. A travel cot and highchair are here if you need them. We accept up to three well-behaved dogs.
