White Heather Barn
White Heather Barn is in Swanwick, Derbyshire. It's a two bedroom barn conversion, sleeps four. There are two bedrooms, both upstairs, and each one has its own bathroom with a walk in shower. So no arguments about who's next.
It's a 4 Star place. It's been done up recently, so everything feels new and works properly. The heating system is modern and keeps it warm.
Downstairs is open plan, kitchen and dining area, then a separate living room. There's a wood burning stove in there. It's a nice room to sit in of an evening.
Outside the back door there's a private courtyard with a hot tub. The front looks out over fields. You can start a walk right from the door.
You're well placed for the Peak District. Chatsworth House is about 25 minutes by car. So is Carsington Water, if you want to go sailing or walking round the reservoir. The National Tramway Museum at Crich is even closer, maybe 15 minutes.
Alton Towers is a 20 minute drive. If you've got younger kids, Gulliver's Kingdom in Matlock is about the same.
For facilities, it's got pretty much what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there. One well behaved dog is allowed.
