This is The Bungalow. It’s in Denby Common, between Derby and Matlock. The place is detached, set back behind a stone archway off a quiet lane.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms. One double, one with two singles. Everything is on one level. There's one bathroom with a shower. The living area is all open plan: kitchen, dining, and sitting room together. It’s a decent size.
There’s a lawned garden out the front with a patio and seating. You get the whole garden to yourselves. Parking is on the drive.
It’s a three star place. That means it’s clean, comfortable and has what you need, but it’s not luxury. The WiFi works.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
There’s a village pub about a ten minute walk away. They do good food. For shops, you’ll need to drive to Ripley, which is a few miles.
You’re in a good spot for getting out. The Peak District starts about a twenty minute drive west. Crich and the National Tramway Museum are close. Matlock Bath is worth a trip for the cable car up to the Heights of Abraham. Bakewell, Chatsworth, and Carsington Water are all within half an hour.
