Woodend Bungalow

Woodend Bungalow is in Huthwaite on the edge of Nottinghamshire. It's a semi-detached bungalow, so everything's on one level which is handy. The annex is attached but has its own door. I live there, but you won't see me unless you need something.

It sleeps ten. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It’s a 3 Star place, so it’s comfortable and clean, not luxury. The main thing is the view. You look out over the Meden Valley from the front. There’s a deck to sit on out there.

You've got about three acres of recreation land right next to the bungalow. Good for kids to run about. There’s also a games room just for this property, with a pool table and things like that.

At Woodend Farm, just up the road, you can do coarse fishing, archery, or even axe throwing. It’s about 200 yards away. The village has a pub that does food, about a quarter of a mile. There's an 18-hole golf course too, you can pay to play.

For days out, Hardwick Hall is three miles away. It's a National Trust place. Sherwood Forest and Newstead Abbey are about a twenty minute drive. The Peak District is within half an hour if you fancy a proper walk.

Facilities: there's parking, an electric vehicle charger, a washing machine, dishwasher, and a woodburning stove. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to three dogs. There are kennels nearby if you need them.
