Perkins Cottage

Perkins Cottage is in Woolley Moor. It's a detached house. You're near the edge of the Peak District, but Derbyshire is nice too.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after.

The living room has a woodburning stove. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher. There's a washing machine. The dining room doors lead out to the garden. It's not huge, but it's private and gets the sun. There's a BBQ out there.

The stairs are fine. There's a bathroom downstairs and a shower room upstairs. Bedding and towels are included. WiFi works. Parking is on the drive.

You can bring one dog. We have a highchair if you need it.

The pub is about 150 yards away. They do food. The nearest shop is about a mile away in Ashover, which has a post office and a coffee shop.

You can walk straight from the house. Ogston Reservoir is close by for a stroll. For a bigger trip, Peak District National Park is right there. Carsington Water is about a 15-minute drive for sailing or cycling.

Matlock is a 10-minute drive. It has supermarkets, shops, and a market. Matlock Bath is known for the Heights of Abraham cable car and fish and chips. Bakewell is about 20 minutes away. Chatsworth House is roughly 25 minutes by car. Useful link for that: Chatsworth House.

It's in a quiet spot. Good for families or a group of friends.
