The Stables is in Northedge, Derbyshire. It's a detached cottage, so you've got your own space. It's three storeys, which is unusual. The stairs are a normal staircase, not a ladder or anything.
It sleeps two. It's got one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable.
The layout is a bit different. You come in on the middle floor. That's where the kitchen, dining area and living space are, and the bathroom with a shower. The living area is on a sort of platform above the kitchen. Then you go down a flight of stairs to the bedroom. It's a good size, and it has patio doors that open out to a little seating area with a view over the fields. There's a separate toilet room next to the bedroom.
The cottage is on a quiet lane. You'll see cows. There are a few other holiday cottages nearby.
You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed, but it's not huge, just a patio really. The games room is shared. It's in the big barn next door, with a pool table and table tennis.
The nearest pub and shop are about two miles away in the village of Ashover. They have a couple of good pubs there. Matlock is five miles away for bigger shops and cafes. If you want a proper walk, you're right on the edge of the Peak District. Bakewell, Chatsworth House, and the High Peak Trail are all within a half hour drive.
It's got parking right outside. All the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. It has a wood burner for colder nights, and wifi throughout.
