The Barn
The Barn is on our yard in Holymoorside. It's a detached converted barn. It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a single. One bathroom with a shower.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up well. It's clean and everything works. The main living space is all open plan. Big doors open out onto the patio. The garden is enclosed and it's all yours. There's a covered bit outside for drying coats or walking boots.
The village is quiet. There are two pubs within a five minute walk. The Gate Inn does good food. The Horns has Peak Ales if you're after a pint. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Chesterfield.
You're right on the edge of the Peak District. Good walking starts from the door. Chatsworth House is about a twenty minute drive. Bakewell and Matlock are each about twenty minutes away too. Chesterfield, with its famous crooked spire church, is about ten minutes in the car.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right next to the barn. It's wheelchair accessible to get in. There's storage for bikes.
