Mill Farm Cottages - The Nook
This is The Nook, one of the cottages at Mill Farm. It's in Crowhole, which is a small place near Barlow. You're right on the edge of the Peak District here.
It sleeps two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. It's on the ground floor, which is useful.
You get your own patio area. There's parking right there. The cottage has Wi-Fi and a TV. Bedding is included, and we can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
The farm itself is 50 acres. It's all conservation land, pastures and woods. You're welcome to walk around it. You'll see deer and all sorts of birds.
There's a local pub within walking distance. They do food. Barlow village is close by for essentials.
You're about 15 minutes from Chesterfield, which has all the big shops. The main reason to be here is for the Peak District. You can be walking on the moors from the doorstep, really. Chatsworth House is about a half hour drive. For planning, the Peak District National Park site is good.
You can bring one dog. There's a charge for that.
