Mill Farm Cottages - Cherry Tree
This is Cherry Tree, one of the cottages at Mill Farm. It's in a place called Crowhole, just outside Barlow. You're in the countryside here, on the edge of the Peak District. The cottage is part of a old farm conversion, so there are a few others nearby, but you have your own space.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, but not luxurious. Everything works.
Outside, you've got your own patio area. The real point here is the land. The farm sits in 50 acres of fields and woodland. There are lakes on site if you fancy some fishing. You can just walk out the door and onto the paths.
Barlow village is close. There's a local pub within walking distance. For a bigger shop, you'd need to drive to Chesterfield. It's about twenty minutes.
You're right on the doorstep of the Peak District. Chatsworth House is about a half hour drive. So is Bakewell. For walks, you can be in the National Park in minutes. The Peak District National Park site is good for planning. If you like stately homes, Chatsworth is the big one round here.
In terms of what's here: all the utilities are included. There's a TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are provided. We can put a cot and highchair in if you need them. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's parking right outside.
