Barn Owls Nest

Barn Owls Nest is a first-floor apartment in an old stable block. It's part of a small farm with horses, so you'll see them from the windows. It's on the edge of Dronfield.

The apartment is for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.

It's open plan downstairs. There's a woodburning stove which is nice in the evenings. The kitchen has what you need. The bed is comfortable. The water pressure in the shower is good.

Because it's a conversion, the ceilings are high but some of the doorways are quite low. Just mind your head.

You're about a 15-minute walk from Dronfield town centre. There are shops, cafes, and a few pubs that do food. It's a handy spot. You're between Sheffield and Chesterfield, so both cities are about a 15-minute drive if you want that. Chesterfield has its crooked spire church.

The main point is the Peak District. You can be in the National Park in ten minutes by car. For walks, the Peak District National Park site has good information. Padley Gorge and the Derwent Dams are close. National Trust Peak District covers places like Longshaw Estate.

Chatsworth House is maybe 25 minutes away. Bakewell is about half an hour. Haddon Hall is a similar distance.

In terms of what's here, you've got parking, WiFi, TV, all the bedding and towels, and a washer. There's a cot and highchair if needed. No pets allowed.
