Little Hive

Little Hive is one of three holiday apartments here. They're up in the converted barns and stables on a horse farm just outside Dronfield. It sleeps two, in one bedroom.

You're in the middle of about forty acres. There are over thirty horses here, so you'll see them being worked in the yard or out in the fields. It's a working farm, not just a pretty view. It's gated for security.

Inside, it's a first-floor apartment. Everything's on one level once you're up the stairs. It's open plan. The kitchen has a dishwasher. There's a TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.

Dronfield itself is a ten or fifteen minute walk. There are shops, pubs, and places to eat. It's handy because you're between Sheffield and Chesterfield. Sheffield's about twenty minutes in the car for city stuff. Chesterfield, with its crooked spire church, is about twenty minutes the other way.

You're right on the edge of the Peak District. You can be in the National Park in under ten minutes driving. For walks, the reservoirs like Ladybower are within half an hour. Chatsworth House is about twenty-five minutes away. Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall are also within easy reach.
