Clearview

Clearview is on the edge of the Peak District in Newgate. It's a detached house, so no one is on the other side of the wall. The garden gets the sun in the afternoon. There's a fire pit and a separate barbecue area at the front with a view over the fields.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms. Two bathrooms, which is useful. One is on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up to a high standard, so it feels comfortable rather than just basic.

There's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. The stairs are open plan from the living room, so there's no door at the bottom.

There's a local pub within walking distance. For a bigger shop, you'd need to drive. Chesterfield is about 15 minutes away.

You're right on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Good walking from the door. For specific trips, Bakewell and Hathersage are about 20 minutes by car. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are a similar distance. Castleton and Eyam are roughly half an hour. Matlock, with the Heights of Abraham, is also about 30 minutes.

The house has on-site parking. Bedding and towels are included. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. We don't take pets, sorry.
