Barn View
This is Barn View. It's a cottage we renovated on our farm in Clay Cross. It's completely detached, stone built, with a view over our fields.
It sleeps six but has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom has a big spa bath. It's got a 5 Star rating, which for a farm cottage mainly means it's modern and clean and everything works. You'll see the original beams are still there.
It's on a working farm. We've got cattle, horses, and some ducks and chickens. So you'll hear and see them.
You can walk straight out from the door. There's fishing about half a mile away. The nearest shop is four miles, the nearest pub is three. You'll need to drive.
You're in a good spot for visiting places. Chatsworth House is about ten miles. So are Bolsover Castle and Hardwick Hall. Bakewell, which is famous for the puddings, is under a half hour's drive. The Peak District is right there.
For facilities, you've got parking right outside, an enclosed garden with a patio and a BBQ, WiFi, a washing machine and dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
