Skylark View is a second floor flat in Matlock. It's got two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It sleeps five, with a kingsize bed and twin beds.
The main thing is the view. You look right out over Matlock and the valley. It's a proper view. The living area is open plan and it's been decorated recently, so it's clean and in good order.
It's a flat, so it's all on one floor once you're up there. There's a parking space for you on site. You can walk into Matlock town centre in about five minutes. There's a pub about 200 yards away.
Matlock Bath is just along the road. You can walk it if you fancy. It's got the classic amusements and chip shops along the river. The cable car up to the Heights of Abraham is there. That's worth doing once for the view from the top.
You're on the edge of the Peak District. Bakewell is about 15 minutes by car. Chatsworth House is maybe 20 minutes. The National Tramway Museum at Crich is close. For walks, you've got the High Peak Trail nearby. You can drive into the White Peak easily.
Facilities: there's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and storage for bikes. Bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
