Brendan Cottage
Brendan Cottage is one of the cottages at Burton Manor Farm, near Over Haddon. It's part of a working farm, so you'll see cows in the fields. We leave you some fresh milk from them when you arrive.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The main sofa is big, which is good for a group.
The cottage looks out over the fields. You have your own patio with a table. It's a decent spot to sit in the evening.
You're right in the Peak District here. You can walk straight out from the door onto footpaths. Monsal Head is very close. The town of Bakewell is about a twenty minute walk away along the river. It's got shops, cafés and the original Bakewell Pudding shop.
There are two village pubs in Monyash, which is the next village over. Both do food. Chatsworth House is about a fifteen minute drive. It's a full day out if you like that sort of thing.
Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, TV, wi-fi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to three dogs.
