Manor Cottage is in Wardlow. It's a detached cottage on the main road through the village. You get good open views from the back over the fields.
It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom or shower room. That's the main thing with this place. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well kept and comfortable. The kitchen is a good size, more like a farmhouse kitchen. There's a wood burner in the living room.
The courtyard garden is enclosed, which is useful. There's parking for a couple of cars right outside.
You can walk straight from the door. There's a path called The Pingle up behind the village that goes into Cressbrook Dale. It's good for a proper walk. For a pint, the nearest pub is about two miles away in Litton. The shop is in Tideswell, a couple of miles in the other direction.
Bakewell is ten minutes by car. They've got all the shops and cafes you'd need there. Chatsworth House is about twenty minutes away. So is Haddon Hall. Buxton, Matlock and Ashbourne are all within half an hour if you want a bigger town.
For facilities: it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. There's a cot, highchair and stairgate if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs. There's a barbecue and bike storage too.
