Verona House is in Tideswell. It's an old village shop that's been done up. It sleeps eight, has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main room is the kitchen and living area. It's big. There's a wood burner, sofas, a TV, and a proper kitchen with a dishwasher. There's a separate dining room too. Off that room is a downstairs bedroom with its own shower room. Useful if stairs are a problem.
Upstairs, there's a master bedroom with an ensuite, a twin room, and another double that can be twins if you ask. There's also a family bathroom up there.
Out the back there's a garden with a table and chairs. There's a washing machine in a utility area.
Tideswell itself is a proper Peak District village. There are a couple of pubs and cafes you can walk to. They do food.
For walking, you're right in it. The Monsal Trail and Millers Dale are close. Peak District National Park has all the maps and details. Chatsworth House is about a 20-minute drive. So is Buxton. Bakewell is maybe 15 minutes.
Facilities: all the bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and parking. There's a BBQ. No pets, sorry.
