This is Acorn Cottage in Tideswell. It's an end-terrace place, up the hill a bit.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished. The master bedroom has doors straight out to the garden. There's also a bedroom and a shower room on the ground floor, which is handy.
The garden is enclosed and raised up. There's a patio and a heated summerhouse. Inside, there are two wood burners, one in the living room and one in the dining room. The stairs are fine.
Tideswell's a proper village. You've got a shop, butchers, a deli, coffee shops and pubs about five or ten minutes' walk away. The church is famous. They do well dressings and a food festival.
For walking, you can step straight out onto Tideswell Dale. The Limestone Way goes through the village. The Monsal Trail for cycling is close by. Castleton and Mam Tor are about seven miles north, which is a good drive or a long walk.
Bakewell is 15 minutes in the car for the market and the pudding. Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are near there. Buxton is about the same drive the other way, for the opera house and the Pavilion Gardens.
If you're after something bigger, Alton Towers is 45 minutes away. The cable cars at Matlock are about half an hour.
What's here: parking on site, WiFi, TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. You can bring two dogs. The garden is enclosed.
