Mullions Cottage
Mullions Cottage is in Castleton. It's a traditional stone cottage in the village, so it's terraced and the street outside is narrow.
The cottage sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is quite handy. It's a 4 Star property, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. It has a woodburning stove and a dishwasher.
The stairs are cottage stairs, so they’re steep and turn a corner. The garden at the back is enclosed, which is good if you’re bringing dogs. You can have up to two pets here.
You're right in the middle of the village. There's a pub a minute's walk away. The local shops are close, so you can get basics. The main thing here is the walking. You can step out the door and be straight onto the hills or walking up to the caves.
Mam Tor is right there. You can walk up from the cottage. The Peak District National Park visitor centre for the area is in the village, which is useful for maps. For a longer trip, Ladybower Reservoir is about a 20-minute drive. Chatsworth House is roughly half an hour by car.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ in the garden. Parking is on the street outside the cottage.
