Mullions Cottage is in Castleton, right in the middle of the Peak District. It's an old stone cottage, down a little lane. You can walk straight out of the door onto the hills.
The cottage sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. It's got thick walls and low beams in places, which is normal for round here.
There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for dogs or kids. We allow up to two well-behaved pets.
Castleton village is a five minute walk. There are a couple of pubs that serve food, a few shops, and a post office. For walking, you've got Mam Tor and the Hope Valley right there. The Peak District National Park site has good maps.
You're well placed for getting out. Edale and the start of the Pennine Way is about ten minutes by car. Chatsworth House is maybe half an hour's drive. For history, Peveril Castle is in the village itself.
Facilities wise: there's WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and bedding and towels are included. There's also a BBQ and off-road parking for two cars.
