Amber Villa
Amber Villa is in the middle of Tideswell village. It's a stone terraced house, so you've got neighbours either side, but it's quiet. We did it up a couple of years ago so everything's fresh.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's over three floors, so there are a lot of stairs. They're normal house stairs, just a fair few of them.
You're right in the village. There are shops, cafés, and a couple of pubs all within a minute's walk. The church, St John the Baptist, is the big one they call the Cathedral of the Peak. It's worth a look.
For walking, you can step straight out onto the footpaths. Tideswell Dale and the Cressbrook Nature Reserve are close. You can walk to the Monsal Trail or the Limestone Way from the door if you're keen.
By car, you can get to most places in twenty minutes or so. Buxton is a ten minute drive. Bakewell is about twenty. Chatsworth House is maybe fifteen minutes. Castleton and Mam Tor are a similar drive.
In the house you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage round the back. We don't allow pets.
