Butterfield Cottage
Butterfield Cottage is in Tideswell, Derbyshire. It's on the edge of the village, about five minutes' walk to the centre. The cottage is painted pink, so you can't really miss it.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are normal.
The main room downstairs is open plan. There's a sitting area with a wood burner, a dining table for six, and the kitchen leads off it. The kitchen has what you need. A dishwasher and washing machine are there.
Outside, there's a small front patio with a view over the fields. There's a back garden too, with a bench and a sheltered bit for storing bikes. A gate from the back garden opens onto a playground and the car park.
You can bring two dogs.
Tideswell itself has shops, including a Co-op. There are a few pubs, cafes, and a chip shop. The big church in the middle is known as the 'Cathedral of the Peak'.
For walking, you're right in the Peak District. The Monsal Trail is close by. The Peak District National Park site has good information. Chatsworth House is about a 20-minute drive. Bakewell is maybe 15 minutes away. Buxton, with its Opera House and Pavilion Gardens, is about 20 minutes.
