Millstone Cottage
Millstone Cottage is in Bradwell, a village in the Peak District National Park. It's on a steep hillside, so get ready for some uphill walks just to get home.
It sleeps three people, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star. Up to three pets are welcome. Just to repeat the official notice about it, the stairs are steep and narrow. We've put a stairgate at the top for safety.
The garden is enclosed with a patio area. Inside, it's open plan with a wood-burning stove, which is nice in the evening. There's a TV, wifi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The local pub is about a hundred yards away. There's a shop about two hundred yards away, which is handy.
For getting out, you're right in the Peak District National Park. Bradwell itself is good for walking and cycling. There's local fishing, and horse riding can be arranged. If you drive, you’re close to a few places. Buxton is a spa town about 10 miles away. Bakewell, the market town, is also about 10 miles. Chatsworth House is within a 10-mile drive too. There's a golf course roughly four miles away.
