Eyam View Cottage

Eyam View Cottage is a stone cottage in Eyam. It’s Grade II listed, built around 1820. It’s part of a small courtyard. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It sleeps five.

The rating is 4 Star. It’s been done up nicely. There’s a woodburning stove in the living room. The cottage has 25 acres of fields and gardens around it, which you can use.

You’re on the edge of the village. Eyam is known as the ‘Plague Village’. There are information boards around telling the story. There are a couple of tea rooms and craft shops. Eyam Hall is here too.

The stairs are steep and the doorways are low in places. That’s just how old cottages are.

You’re right in the Peak District. For walks, you can step straight out. Castleton is about 15 minutes north by car, with its caves and Mam Tor. Bakewell is about the same time south. Chatsworth House is 20 minutes away. Buxton is also about 20 minutes. You can get to Chesterfield or Sheffield in half an hour if you need shops or a theatre.

Facilities include a dishwasher, washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking. You can bring one dog. There’s a garden with a barbecue and a bike store.
