Eyam View Cottage
Eyam View Cottage is in Eyam. It's a stone cottage, Grade II listed, from about 1820. You're in a small courtyard, but you have access to about 25 acres of fields and gardens around the place.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up well inside, it's comfortable. The living room has an open fire.
The stairs are steep. It's an old cottage, that's how they are.
Eyam itself is known as the Plague Village. There are information boards around telling the story. There's a hall, a couple of tea rooms, and some craft shops.
Location is the main thing. You're right in the Hope Valley. A 15 minute drive to Bakewell, same to Castleton. Chatsworth House is about 20 minutes. Buxton is about 20 minutes. For a bigger town, Chesterfield or Sheffield are within half an hour.
The Peak District is on the doorstep for walking. You can find horse riding and golf nearby. The facilities here are what you'd expect: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
