Warrington House
Warrington House is in Tideswell village, right in the middle. It's a tall, three storey house. It was all done up in 2021, so it's fresh and clean.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It’s a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you need.
You come in through a boot room. It's got tiled floors, good for muddy boots or dogs. The washing machine and tumble dryer are in there. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor: one double and one with twin beds. There's a family bathroom there too, with a bath and a separate shower.
The main living space is on the first floor. It's all open plan: kitchen, dining area, and sitting room. The kitchen has a fridge, small freezer, dishwasher, and a coffee machine. We leave some pods. The dining table seats eight. The main bedroom on this floor has a king size bed.
The top floor is the attic bedroom. It's a big king size room with its own ensuite shower. The ceilings are low in parts, but you can walk around fine.
Outside, there's a small decked terrace at the back.
The pub and a good restaurant are directly across the road. The village has shops and cafes. You can start walks right from the door.
Bakewell is about 15 minutes by car. Buxton is maybe 20 minutes. Chatsworth House is a 25 minute drive. The Peak District National Park site is useful for planning walks. The National Trust has places like Lyme Park and Longshaw Estate nearby, all within half an hour.
Facilities: all the bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi. We have a cot and a highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
