The Brew House is a one bedroom place in Wormhill. It's part of a big old house from the 1600s, but it's self-contained. It's just for two people.
You come in through a wooden gate into a private, walled courtyard. It's got a table and chairs out there. Inside, the main room is the living area with a kitchen at one end. We redid it all in 2020. There's a wood burner, a decent sized TV, and a table for meals. The kitchen has what you need. The bedroom is off that room, with a kingsize bed. The shower room is en-suite.
Because it's all on the ground floor and there's just the one step at the gate, it's quite accessible.
The location is the main point. You're right in the Peak District. The Monsal Trail is practically on the doorstep for walking or cycling. There's a pub in Millers Dale, about a mile and a half away. Tideswell village is close, with shops and a butchers. Buxton is about ten minutes by car for a bigger supermarket. Bakewell is maybe fifteen minutes.
If you want a day out, Chatsworth House is around twenty minutes drive. For walks, the Peak District National Park site has good information. The National Trust looks after some of the historic places nearby too.
What's here: the wood burner, WiFi, TV, a washing machine, parking right outside. All the bedding and towels are included. There's storage if you bring bikes. No pets, I'm afraid.
