Pheasant Cottage

The space is all open plan downstairs. There's a kitchen area with granite worktops. The living area has a wood burner. Upstairs is the bedroom and bathroom. It's all on one level except for the stairs up to the bedroom, which are fine.
Outside there's a private courtyard with a hot tub. It looks out onto the garden. You get parking on site.
The cottage is in Buxton itself. There's a pub about 500 yards away and a restaurant even closer. Buxton has the Pavilion Gardens and the Opera House. The Peak District National Trust page is useful for planning.
Chatsworth House is about a 30 minute drive. So is Haddon Hall. Alton Towers is in that direction too. You can walk straight out onto the Peak District paths from here.
It's got a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and all the bedding and towels are included. There's another cottage next door called Gadley Cottage, so you can book both together if there's four of you.
