Pygreave Cottage is up in Combs, near Chapel-en-le-Frith. It's a converted stable, about three hundred years old, so it's got a fairly unique layout. The views from here are good, looking down the valley towards Combs Moss.
It sleeps four, but there's only one proper bedroom. That's got a kingsize bed which can be split into two singles. The other two beds are single sofa beds in the upstairs living area. Just the one bathroom, which is a shower room on the ground floor.
The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. You've got the basics: wifi, a smart TV, a washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for two cars.
The stairs are the original stable ones, so they're a bit steeper and narrower than modern stairs. Something to be aware of.
Outside, there's a small back garden with a bistro set and a fire pit. It's a quiet spot. You can see why they put it there.
Combs Reservoir is just down the lane. Good for a walk, or fishing if you have a license. There's a pub in the village that does food. For anything more, you'll need to drive to Chapel-en-le-Frith or Buxton.
Buxton is about ten minutes by car. Castleton and Edale, for the walking and the caverns, are within twenty to thirty minutes. You're right in the Peak District, so the options are pretty endless.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's an additional charge for that.
