Sycamore Cottage At Naze Farm
Sycamore Cottage is at Naze Farm, just outside Chinley. It's a one-bedroom barn conversion, end of terrace. We finished the renovation in 2021. It's for two people.
It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well equipped and in good order. Everything is on one level, open plan. The bedroom has an en-suite shower. There's a multi-fuel burner. You get the logs for it.
The views are the main thing. You look straight out at South Head and Cracken Edge. It's very quiet, just sheep and birds. You're right on the edge of the Peak District National Park.
You can walk from the door. The path up towards Kinder Scout is nearby. Chinley train station is about a mile away. You can get the train to Edale or Hope if you want a linear walk. There's a pub about a 15 minute walk down the lane, it does food.
The village of Chinley is half a mile for basics. Chapel-en-le-Frith is ten minutes by car for bigger shops. Buxton is about twenty minutes drive. Castleton and Edale are also close, maybe fifteen minutes. Bakewell and Chatsworth are roughly half an hour.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. We live on the farm, and if we're around we're happy to show you the animals. Just ask.
