Marl Farm Cottage

Marl Farm Cottage is our place in Little Hayfield. It's on the main road between Glossop and Chapel-en-le-Frith, so you'll see and hear some traffic. The upside is it's easy to find and you're right on the edge of the Peak District. It's on our working farm, so look out for sheep.

It's small, for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, with everything you'd need. The stairs are narrow and steep. Just a heads up.

There's a pub about a quarter of a mile up the road. The village of Hayfield is a mile away, it has a shop and a couple more pubs. It's a good starting point for the Sett Valley Trail for an easy walk.

You're well placed for getting out. Kinder Scout is right there. Castleton and its caves are about a 15-minute drive. Eyam, Edale, and Hope Valley are all close. Chatsworth House is maybe 25 minutes by car. Buxton and Bakewell are easy to get to.

For facilities, it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, TV, WiFi, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can take two dogs. There's a small garden area for you.
