Anne's Cottage

Anne's Cottage is in New Mills, right on the edge of the Peak District. It's a modern, terraced house over three floors. The light's good.

It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped.

The stairs inside are standard for a house like this. The garden is a small patio area out the back. It's got a gate.

There's a supermarket, a few pubs, and some takeaways all within a couple of minutes' walk. New Mills Central station is about five minutes away if you want to get the train into Manchester.

For walks, you can start from the door. The Sett Valley Trail is right there and leads out into the countryside. The Peak District National Park is on your doorstep. Peak District National Park has all the maps and information.

Kinder Scout is about a 20-minute drive for a proper moorland walk. Buxton and Castleton are nice for a visit, maybe half an hour by car. Chatsworth House is about 25 minutes away. Chatsworth is worth it if you like that sort of thing. Lyme Park is closer, maybe 15 minutes.

Inside, there's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is onsite for one car. There's a piano in the sitting room, if you play.
