Dewsnap Frost

Dewsnap Frost is in New Smithy, which is near Chapel-en-le-Frith in the Peak District. It's a two-storey cottage in our garden, so we're next door. It's very quiet here, just fields and the view.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom, which is handy. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped but not enormous.

The kitchen has a washing machine and dishwasher. There's a wood burner in the living room. We have an electric vehicle charger and bike storage if you need it.

You can walk straight out from the door onto the hills. Kinder Scout is right there. There's a pub down the road in New Smithy, about a 15-minute walk.

Chapel-en-le-Frith is two miles away for shops. Buxton and Castleton are about 15 minutes by car. Bakewell, Chatsworth House, and Haddon Hall are half an hour away.

If you're planning walks or days out, these websites are useful: Peak District National Park, National Trust Peak District, and for the bus routes, Derbyshire County Council buses.

Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, parking, WiFi, TV. No pets, I'm afraid.
