This is Willow Cottage on Naze Farm. It's in Chinley, in the Peak District. The views from the front are really something, you look out over fields towards South Head.
It's a stone barn that was converted a few years ago. Sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything's in good order and well-equipped.
Inside it's one open room downstairs: kitchen, dining, sitting area all together. There's a multi-fuel stove for heat. The wifi works. Parking is right outside.
You're on a working farm. The owners live on site and if you ask, they'll show you around to see the animals. They're friendly. You can hear farm sounds sometimes.
For walks, you can just step out the door. The path up towards Cracken Edge starts practically from the gate. Kinder Scout is a proper hike from here. Chinley station is close if you want to get the train into the Hope Valley and walk back.
There's a pub about a mile away, the Old Hall Inn. It does good food. Chinley village is half a mile for a shop. Chapel-en-le-Frith and Hayfield are ten minutes by car.
Buxton is twenty minutes. Castleton and Edale are about the same. For a day out, Peak District National Park has all the walking routes. National Trust Peak District covers places like Kinder Scout and Lyme Park.
You can bring two dogs. All bedding and towels are included. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine.
