This is Willow Cottage at Naze Farm, near Chinley. It’s on a farm on a country road, about half a mile from the village. The views are very good. You can see South Head and Cracken Edge from the windows. It’s a stone barn that was done up a few years ago.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. That’s useful. The living space is all open plan downstairs. There’s a multi-fuel burner. It’s a 5 Star place, so everything is in good order.
You can walk straight out onto the footpaths. Kinder Scout is up there. Chinley station is close if you want to get the train into the Hope Valley and walk back. The local pub is under a mile away. They do food.
Chinley has shops. Hayfield and Chapel-en-le-Frith are about ten minutes by car. Buxton is twenty minutes. For Castleton or Edale, it’s about the same.
Further afield, you've got places like Bakewell or Eyam within half an hour. Chatsworth is about forty-five minutes.
We live on the farm. If you want, we can show you around the smallholding to see the animals. Just ask.
Facilities: there’s parking, WiFi, a TV, dishwasher, and a washing machine. All bedding and towels are there. You can bring up to two dogs.
