Kinder
Kinder is a cottage up on Cobden Edge. It's on our farm at the end of a lane. The views from up there are really something, you can see right across the Peak District and beyond.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's done to a good standard. There's underfloor heating and a wood burning stove for the colder months.
Outside, there's a patio to sit on. You share a small gym and a wood-fired hot tub with the guests from the other cottage. It's not private to you.
You're right on the edge of farmland and moorland, so you can walk straight from the door. For a proper walk, it's about a 25 minute drive to Peak District National Park places like Edale or Kinder Scout. Hayfield, Buxton, and Castleton are all within half an hour by car.
The nearest places for shops and a meal are Marple Bridge or New Mills, about ten minutes in the car. New Mills has the Torrs Riverside Park, which is worth a look. There's a train from New Mills into Manchester, takes about half an hour.
Facilities wise: it's all on one level and there's step-free access at the entrance. There's a wet room. Parking is right outside. It's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets.
