Hazel Grove train station is a 15-minute walk. You can get a direct train into Manchester city centre, or the other way to Buxton in the Peak District.
By car, you can be in the Peak District National Park in about ten minutes. Lyme Park is a ten-minute drive. For walking, you can drive to Hayfield for Kinder Scout, or Edale and Castleton, all within half an hour.
Inside, it's got the things you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
