This is Lane Ends Cottage in Disley. It's semi-detached, sleeps six, has three bedrooms and one bathroom. It got the 4 Star rating after we renovated it all in 2022.
The main thing is the view. The back looks out over fields. You get the garden to yourselves and it's enclosed, so it's safe if you're bringing dogs, which you can. Up to two.
It's about a fifteen minute walk into Disley village. There are a couple of pubs that do food, a shop, and the train station. The station is useful, you can be in Manchester in half an hour.
You're right on the edge of the Peak District here. Lyme Park, the big National Trust estate, is basically on the doorstep. You can walk into it. For a longer drive, you can get to Buxton, Castleton, or Edale in about twenty minutes. Edale is where the Pennine Way starts. The Peak District National Park site has good walking maps.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, TV. The parking is on site. All the bedding and towels are included.
