Coachmans Cottage
Coachmans Cottage is in Fernilee, which is on the edge of the Peak District. It's detached, tucked away off a private drive. It's just for two people.
The place is over three floors. The living room and kitchen are on the middle floor, and the bedroom is at the top. There's a wood burner in the living room for chilly evenings. The stairs are quite steep. They're cottage stairs, so you need to be careful.
Outside, there's a big decked area with a hot tub. You get great views over the countryside and there's a stream running past. We see deer in the field next door quite often, usually early in the morning.
It's quiet here. The nearest pub is about a mile away in Whaley Bridge. Whaley Bridge has a few pubs, cafes, and shops and is about five minutes in the car. Buxton is about ten minutes the other way. They've got the Opera House and the Pavilion Gardens there.
You're right in the Peak District. For walking, the Goyt Valley is on your doorstep. Edale and Castleton, which are good for more serious walks, are about half an hour's drive. Bakewell, where the Chatsworth Estate is, is also about thirty minutes away.
In terms of what's here: there's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can take one well-behaved dog. There's an electric vehicle charger.
