It's called Holmfield. It's a terraced cottage near the centre of Buxton. Stone built. You get a decked area out the back. It’s a good spot for sitting out.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs to the top floor are a bit steep, just so you know.
There’s a living room with a gas stove for the evenings. The kitchen has what you need and a table. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and WiFi.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden at the back is enclosed.
Location is the main thing. You’re about a hundred yards from a footpath that goes straight up to Solomon’s Temple and Buxton Country Park. Poole’s Cavern is right there too. You can walk to the Opera House and the festival venues easily.
For days out, you're on the edge of the Peak District. Chatsworth is about a 20 minute drive. You can be walking on the Kinder Scout plateau in half an hour. Manchester is an hour away on the train if you need a city fix.
