Silkstone Crescent is in Buxton, up at Harpur Hill. It's a detached house on a modern estate. Sleeps eight in four bedrooms. You've got two bathrooms, one is an en-suite with a walk-in shower.
It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and in good order. Everything works. There's parking for two cars on the drive.
The garden's enclosed, just lawn and a patio. It's handy. Inside, it's straightforward: a kitchen with what you need, a dining room, a lounge. There's a garage you can use for storing bikes.
Harpur Hill itself has a shop, a chip shop, and a decent pub that does food. There's a walking trail right from the village that takes about 45 minutes.
Buxton town centre is a short drive down the hill. You've got the Opera House, the Pavilion Gardens, restaurants, and some independent shops.
For getting out, you're right in the Peak District. The High Peak Trail is very close for walking or cycling. Castleton with its caverns is about 20 minutes by car. Bakewell is similar. Chatsworth House is roughly half an hour away. You can be in Ashbourne or on the moors around in 30 minutes too.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, all bedding and towels included. You can bring up to three dogs.
