Moorecroft
Moorecroft is in Buxton. It's a detached house, sleeps twelve. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main thing is it's got a lot of space. It's open plan downstairs. There's an indoor swimming pool, which is heated. There's a games room with a pool table. Another room has a big cinema screen with Sky Sports.
It's decorated in a modern way. Some bits are a bit quirky. The stairs are quite open-tread, so you need to be careful if you've got little ones.
You can walk into Buxton town centre in about ten minutes. There's a shop, a couple of pubs, and restaurants about five minutes walk away. The Pavilion Gardens are nice for a stroll.
From the front door, you can be up on the hills straight away. The Peak District National Park is right there. For golf, Cavendish Club is a five minute walk.
Things to do within half an hour: Chatsworth House is about twenty minutes drive. Haddon Hall is similar. Alton Towers is about twenty five minutes away. There are loads of caverns and walking trails.
Practical stuff: it's all on one level once you're inside, except for one bedroom downstairs. There's parking for four cars. Two well-behaved dogs are allowed. All bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and a BBQ in the garden.
