6 Fairfield Road is an apartment in Buxton town centre. It's on a main road, but the windows are new and do a good job keeping the noise out.
It's a two-story flat, sleeps eight. Three bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom on the first floor. The beds are sofa beds, but they'll be made up for you when you arrive. There are two doubles and one single.
Downstairs is open plan. Kitchen, dining table, living area. There's a wood burner, a TV, and double doors that open onto a private balcony. The balcony looks out over the town. It gets the sun.
The location is the main thing. You can walk into the centre of Buxton in a couple of minutes. There are pubs, restaurants, and shops. The Opera House is there if you want to see a show.
For days out, you can drive to Castleton in about 20 minutes to see the caves and the hills. The Peak District National Park is right on the doorstep. There's a golf course nearby. And you can get a direct train to Manchester, which takes about an hour.
It's got a 3 Star rating. Everything's included: bed linen, towels, electricity, wifi. There's a washing machine. No pets, sorry.
