It's 6 Fairfield Road in Buxton. A two-storey apartment right in town. You're a couple of minutes' walk from the centre, which is handy. It’s on a main road, but the windows are new, so it's quiet inside.
It sleeps eight. It says three bedrooms, but they're all sofa beds. They'll be made up for you before you arrive. Two doubles and one single. There’s one bathroom, with a bath and shower.
The front door is on the ground floor. You go up a flight of stairs to the main living floor. The kitchen, dining and living area is all open plan. There’s a wood burner, a big telly, and comfy seating. The sofa there is also a sofa bed if you need it.
Double doors open onto a private balcony. It’s got garden furniture and a nice view over the town.
Facilities are straightforward. WiFi, bedding and towels included. There's a washing machine. No pets.
Buxton itself has everything: shops, cafes, restaurants, the Opera House. The Peak District is right on the doorstep. You can drive to Castleton for the caves in about twenty minutes. Or get the train, it's an hour direct into Manchester if you fancy a city day.
