This is Apartment 1, in Buxton. It's on the first floor of a building in the middle of town. You can walk to pretty much everything.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one double and one with two singles. Mattresses and linen are good quality. One bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's a 4 Star property, so it's done up nicely but it's not huge. The kitchen, living and dining area is all open plan. There's a Smart TV. The kitchen has what you need to make a proper meal.
There's a decent sized bay window that looks out over the town. Parking: there's roadside parking nearby, if you find a space. There's also a public car park a couple of minutes walk away.
The location is the main thing. You're right there. The Opera House and Pavilion Gardens are round the corner. Shops, restaurants, pubs, all on your doorstep. There's a pub about 30 yards away. The train station is close too, with a direct line to Manchester.
For walks, you've got loads of options without driving far. The Goyt Valley is lovely. The High Peak and Tissington Trails are good for cycling or a flat walk. Bakewell, Ashbourne and Matlock are all easy drives. Chatsworth House is about half an hour away. The caves in Castleton are worth seeing. If you want rollercoasters, Alton Towers is 45 minutes by car.
Facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and the electricity and utilities are all covered. No pets, sorry.
