Spring Cottage

Spring Cottage is in Hollinsclough. It's a small, quiet village in the Staffordshire part of the Peak District. The cottage itself is a converted barn, detached, so you're on your own. It's set in about six acres of its own land, with gardens around it.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped, not just basic. The living room has a wood burning stove and the floors are stone, so it can feel a bit cool underfoot. You'll want slippers. The stairs are open-tread and go up from the living area, which is quite typical for a barn conversion.

The kitchen has what you need. There's a washing machine, and towels and bedding are included. WiFi works. You can park right outside.

Outside, there's a patio and garden with a BBQ. The land around it is yours to use. Footpaths start right from the property, so you can walk straight out into the fields.

For shops and a pub, you need to go to Longnor, which is about two miles away. It's a short drive. There's a village shop there. Buxton is about a 20-minute drive. That's where you'll find bigger supermarkets, the Opera House, and the Pavilion Gardens.

You're right in the middle of the Peak District here. Bakewell is maybe 25 minutes by car. Chatsworth House is about half an hour. For walking, you're close to the Manifold Valley and not far from the Roaches either.

No pets, I'm afraid.
