Ten is a terraced cottage in Buxton. It’s not big, but it’s been done up. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s comfortable and well looked after.
It’s tucked in behind the main street. You can walk to everything in a couple of minutes. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants, a good bookshop, and the Opera House is just up the road.
The stairs are steep, which is normal for these cottages. There’s a washing machine, a dishwasher, and the bedding and towels are included. WiFi works fine. No pets allowed.
From here, you’re right on the edge of the Peak District. You can walk straight out onto the trails. Buxton Country Park and Poole’s Cavern are on the edge of town. The historic houses like Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are about a 30 minute drive.
