Fern Spree
Fern Spree is a first-floor apartment in Buxton. It's on the first floor of what used to be a big detached house. It's not glamorous but it's clean and well put together.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with super king beds. Each one has its own ensuite bathroom. You get one parking space off the road.
The town centre is a short walk away. It's a proper town with shops and pubs. The famous well where you can try the spring water is a couple of minutes from your door. It's interesting. The whole place has a nice feel to it.
Being here means you're right on the edge of the Peak District. You can walk from the door up to Solomon's Temple for the views. The traffic can get busy on the main roads, but the side streets are quiet. A pub is about ten minutes' walk away.
You can get to a lot of the famous Peak spots easily from here. Bakewell and Chatsworth are about half an hour's drive. Castleton and its caverns are a bit less. Eyam is not far. Edale, which is where the Pennine Way starts, is a straightforward drive.
Usual things are included: bedding, towels, WiFi, TV. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. No pets.
