So, Nield Bank Bungalow is in Flash, in Staffordshire. It's that place we have right out in the Peak District. You turn up the track and it's just you, the bungalow, and the fields. It's detached and has its own parking.
It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. We allow two dogs as well.
The point of it is the location. You walk out the door and you're straight into walking country. You can walk down into Flash village itself from there. That's where you pick up the Three Shires Head walk, where all those counties meet. You don't really need to drive to start a good walk.
There's a local shop and a pub that does food about three quarters of a mile away. For a bigger shop or a different meal, Buxton is about five miles. It's got all the things a spa town has.
Within about half an hour's drive you've got places like Hartington, Eyam, and Castleton. Bakewell is about that far too. Alton Towers is also in that range if that's your thing.
If you want the big stately homes, Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are about 40 minutes away.
Facilities-wise, it's got what you'd need. Washing machine, TV, a cot if required, bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage. There's a patio garden with the place. Parking is right there.
