The Servant's Quarters is in Buxton. It's on a quiet street, about ten minutes' walk from the town centre. You can get to the Opera House and the Pavilion Gardens without needing the car.
It's a three-storey house. Sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, so that works for two couples or a small family. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is clean and well kept.
You enter on the middle floor from the street. The kitchen is downstairs, and it opens onto a private, enclosed garden. It's a good spot for a BBQ when the weather's right. Upstairs from the entrance, there are two bedrooms on separate floors. The top bedroom has its own shower room and a little sitting area. The other bathroom is on the middle floor, just across from the second bedroom.
Being in Buxton means you're right on the edge of the Peak District. You can walk from the door into the hills. For driving, Chatsworth House is about half an hour away. The National Trust Peak District page is useful for planning walks. So is the Peak District National Park site.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's parking on the street outside. No pets, sorry.
